Gongguan Night Market 公館夜市

MRT :   Gongguan Station ( 公館站 ) exit 1 or exit 4 Gongguan night market is another popular night market especially for student since it's near  國立臺灣大學  NTU(National Taiwan University) and  國立台灣科技大學  NTUST ( National Taiwan University of Science and Technology ).  Most stores and shops offer reasonable prices in order to attract students. Gongguan would be your best market to find many things such as shoe stores, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and umbrellas.  Here you can also found many different type of restaurant from Thailand food, Middle Eastern Halal Food, Hot Pot, Western Style Food, Noodles Shop. This bakery is really popular in Taipei mostly you have to queue before entering. You could find many different pastry with  many favours to choose from (pineapple, cranberry, cherry, etc)  in this bakery. My favorite are pineapple pastry ( 鳳梨酥)  and  sun cake (太陽餅).

The foods are delicious, kind of mixed cuisine from Singapore and Malaysia. Love the chicken curry especially its spiciness. The curry laksa is also delicious just a little bit fishy. But the winning dish is the french toast with kaya absolutely making me craving for more and more.

They have many type of main dish start from pork chop, sirloin, tenderloin, grilled chicken, grilled salmon, grilled squid,etc. Love their pork chop so much. Each per person have to order 1 main dish to get the free salad bar. If you didn't order anything they will charge for the salad bar. The salad bar include many things such as soup, bread, salad, fried food, noodles, beverages, fruits and cakes.
