Night markets in Taiwan are street markets in Taiwan that operate in urban or suburban areas. Most of night markets are open at the evening until midnight and offer a variety of fresh Taiwanese snacks, clothing, or fun accessories. Many vendor sell delicious and unique foods. See the list here:

MRT :  Jiantan Station (劍潭站) exit 1
Shilin night market is the largest and most popular in Taipei. Almost every tourist will go here to find Taiwanese snack in Shilin B1 Market. The most popularly food in here is the Oyster Omelet (蚵仔煎). See the detail here.

MRT :  Houshanpi Station (後山埤站), walk 5-10 minutes from MRT
One of other popular night market near Wufenbu (五分埔) wholesale garment market. During every weekend and holiday, the market is often filled with  crowds of tourists and local Taipei citizens who want to eat local foods. See the detail here.

Danshui is a popular market, many Taiwanese would go here enjoying the view and snacking along the riverside with the beautiful sunset view. Gongguan Night Market 公館夜市
MRT :  Gongguan Station (公館站) exit 1
Gongguan night market is another popular night market especially for student since it's near 國立臺灣大學 NTU(National Taiwan University) and 國立台灣科技大學 NTUST (National Taiwan University of Science and Technology). Most stores and shops offer reasonable prices in order to attract students. Gongguan would be your best market to find many things such as shoe stores, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and umbrellas. See the detail here.

The noodle absolutely delicious just don't forget put chili and vinegar on top of it, stir and eat it while still hot. Many Taiwanese people eat while standing in front of the store.

My husband order their seafood & pork with egg noodles (230 NT), it was delicious and the broth is tasty. My lemon grass pork chop rice (230 NT) was amazing, It really good combination of the sauce, pork and even the salad was yummy. I will definitely come back for that lemon grass pork chop.
