MRT :   Taipei City Hall Station (市政府站),  see the website detail for other branch Location :   Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Plaza A8 Food Court (新光三越A8館)    Price :  average 350-600 NTD/person Website :  http://www.timhowan.com.tw/ Experienced :  Highly Recommended Menu :  Dim Sum Tim Ho Wan, a Michelin-starred Hong Kong dim sum restaurant, recently opened in Taiwan. It's really crowded so be patient with queue, it took around two hours during peak time. The main star menu is  BBQ pork buns which are fluffy and crumbly stuffed with sweet tender pork cubes.  The BBQ pork buns is always become my main menu for each visited. I'll never get tired with this kind of dim sum. Every dish are good and delicious, and this time we only queue for about 30-35 minutes not bad lah.

MRT : Minquan West Road (民權西路站) or  Shuanglian ( 雙連站) or  Daqiaotou (大橋頭站) Location : Walk 10-15 minutes from MRT station Dihua Streat is a famous market for shopping Chinese Lunar New Year stuff. It's a perfect place to experience the old Taipei market feeling and take home variety traditional unique items. In here they sell almost everything to prepare for the feast, start from candy, chocolate, dried mushroom, meat, nuts, beverages, etc. My favorite part is the free sample from almost every vendor. You can try it before you buy it. It's really crowded before  Chinese Lunar New Year  such an unforgettable experience.

It's almost similar with Dazzling Cafe but you didn't have to queue that long. The main star menu of course - honey toast with different flavors and toppings.
